HORT™ Barge
The SEVERE Heavy Oil Recovery and Transfer (HORT™) Barge is equipped with two front mounted ADIP™ skimmers.
Vessel is constructed of bare marine grade aluminum 5000 or 6000 series (no paint). Welding performed to ASTM standards.
Customizable options available for specific applications. Vessel manufacture completed by
Hike Metal Products Ltd.
Standard unit complete with:
• 2 x ADIP™ skimmers mounted at bow
• 5,000lb capacity knuckle crane
• Discharge pump and assembly
• Hydraulic power pack & control stand to operate skimmers, discharge pump and crane
• Operator certification program
Upgrade options:
• Hydro Armor hydraulic drive system
• Supplemental non-powered barge(s) for increased oil storage capacity and working deck area
• Wireless remote control for skimming operations
• Debris recovery system
