"I am writing to confirm that your skimmer the ERE ADIP™ Skimmer 1 foot wide band version, has successfully completed testing in our mechanical recovery tank (30 m3) using an extremely viscous bitumen product. This bitumen product has a measured viscosity in excess of 1,300,00 cP..."
David Cooper, P.Eng., Senior Project Mgr., Env. Tech Program, Science Applications International Corporation

"ERE built an Orimulsion® Refloater and Skimmer under our Orimulsion® Spill Equipment Development Program. Both the Refloater and the Skimmer performed to our expectations, resulting in Bitor recommending this equipment to all our customers as a first line of defense in the unlikely event of a spill."

"I found ERE's work to be very professional and well designed. They were timely and efficient and their work has always been of the finest quality. It has been a pleasure working with ERE's personnel in the past and we look forward to maintaining this relationship in the future."
Nelson Garcia-Tavel, Vice President, Operations and Environmental Affairs, Bitor America Corporation.

"In past research and development initiatives, ERE's ADIP™ skimmer has proven itself to be among one of the only skimmers readily available to meet our requirements." Ron MacKay, Project Manager, Canadian Coast Guard - Maritimes "Your skimmer did an outstanding job separating the bitumen from the water, which allowed us to use the oil for further tests during the workshop"
Cdmr. Michael Drieu, District 8 Chief of Response, US Coast Guard

On August 16th, 2012, WCSS tested the Oriliminator 30 in our portable test tank at our regional custodian's yard in Acheson, Alberta. The test material for the field trial was a weathered, very viscous bitumen material. Once we were able to bring the test material to the surface, the skimmer performed very well; it was able to recover the heavy oil and demonstrated that it could pull the oil towards the recovery belt quite effectively. The results of this test were in line with previous testing coordinated by Environment Canada and sponsored by the U.S. Coast Guard.
